Take the assembly out of its storage bag, hook the "claws" onto the sides of the shopping cart, buckle that car seat in place, and you're good to go. I can't say how much this product has helped me with my sanity. I INSTALLED THIS ONE HANDED WHILE HOLDING THE BABY CARRIER IN MY OTHER ARM! It was easy and secure! I could put so much more in the cart using this sling. I usually have to just grab a few things and then worry about things falling on my little guy while the car seat is in the shopping cart.
